Introduction

This Privacy Policy, as well as the Vynt Terms of Use, govern the use of the Vynt website and/or mobile application.

The Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party programs, services, websites, or mobile applications, even if you use them and/or access them through the Vynt website or mobile application.

It also does not apply to personal information that you have provided and/or provide to third parties.

If this Privacy Policy does not apply, you should review the applicable privacy policy and related terms posted on the relevant website, application, and/or applicable to any other service you use before providing your personal information.

This Privacy Policy contains information on how we collect, use, store, and process your personal information, so please read it carefully before using the Vynt website and/or mobile application.

By using the Vynt website, mobile application, and/or services, including registering an account, you must confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, we recommend that you do not use the Vynt website, mobile application, and/or services.

1. For what purposes and what personal data do we collect?

Data Category: Your identification and contact data

Identification data: your first name, last name.

Contact information: email address, phone number, residential address.

Other information you provide to us when filling out questionnaires at your request: date of birth, gender, language choice, company name and details when communicating with us on behalf of a company, other information you provide to us about yourself.

Data source: Received from you if you place an order through Vynt and the data necessary for its fulfillment, create a personal Vynt account and submit your data through the account, you contact us with a request, complaint, etc.

Data Category: Registration, Login and Account Settings and Administration

Registration and login information: email address and password used for your account.

Data source: Received from you when registering on Vynt and creating an account.

Data source: Automatically created or stored (including the use of cookies and similar technologies) when registering, logging in, or using an account (e.g., specifications).

Technical/administrative information necessary for account operation and security: user ID, account status (active, suspended, etc.), IP address, account login, and account actions.

Other information: indication that you have read the Vynt terms of use and/or privacy policy, date and time of reading.

Data Category: Service booking details

Details of your order/booking: ordered services, their quantity, prices, provided discounts, used coupons, date and time of order;

Payment information: payment method, date and time, payment details (including, but not limited to, bank account number).

Data source: Received from you if you place an order/booking through Vynt, pay for an order, contact us (or we contact you) regarding issues related to the order and its fulfillment, if you request a refund, etc.

Address information: service provider's (Specialist's) address and your address, provided you have booked a service at your address.

Information about the status of the order/booking and its progress: whether the service has been booked, confirmed booking, refund information, etc.

Data source: Created during order fulfillment or received from service providers (Specialists), which helps Specialists and Users find each other (e.g., location and address for Specialist, information that the order is paid, completed, etc.).

Contact information: information on communicating with you regarding issues related to the order and its fulfillment, your feedback and ratings, content of other messages.

Other information: indication that you have read the Vynt terms of use and/or privacy policy, date and time of reading.

Data source: We collect cookies and similar technologies when such information is necessary for accepting and processing an order (e.g., cookies are used to record that you have read the terms of the privacy policy).

If you book a service as a registered customer, your order details will be linked to other data stored in your personal account.

Data Category: Your consents, communication methods and/or service management

Consent and communication options: your consent to receive and/or opt-out of marketing and/or other communications.

Service capabilities: information about the Vynt services you use (e.g., location selection and the ability to create a service provision location for Specialists), about ordering and/or canceling them.

Your cookie choices.

Data source: Received from you (and stored automatically, including through cookies and similar technologies), you indicate your respective consents and/or choices, subscribe to or unsubscribe from relevant notifications and/or services.

Data Category: Information about your Browse of the Vynt website and/or mobile application

Browse data: viewed service providers (Specialists), viewed services, date and time of viewing, viewing time, items added to cart and/or wish list, date and time of download, banner clicks, other clicks and content interest, information that users can access, including, but not limited to, affiliate statistics.

Technical specifications: IP address, session ID, browser used, device type, resolution.

Data source: Collected using cookies and similar technologies when Browse the Vynt website and/or mobile application.

Data source: Generated based on your Browse data (e.g., viewing statistics).

Data Category: Other data arising from your use of relevant Vynt services

Data that is generated when using certain Vynt services or features: for example, if you save services to a wish list, select and save a city (to see nearest service providers), save the website or mobile application language, etc.

If you perform these steps as a registered customer, the data will be linked to your unregistered data.

Data source: Received from you (and stored by automatic means, including cookies and similar technologies), if you use the corresponding Vynt service or feature.

Data Category: Newsletter and other communication details

Information that the message was successfully delivered, information about the message and date and time of opening, clicking a link in the message, email message information.

Message forwarding (without fixed addressee), information about opting out of messages (of the relevant type of messages).

Data source: Collected using cookies and similar technologies when receiving newsletters and other communications.

Data Category: Content you share via Vynt

The Vynt website and/or mobile application offers public reviews, ratings, questions about services, and other content that you publicly submit and/or share with Vynt.

Please remember that you publish the content yourself, so you are solely responsible for the content you share.

Data source: Received from you if you publish relevant content via Vynt.

Data Category: Details for contacting you

If you contact us for assistance, ask questions, provide us with feedback, submit complaints, etc., we will process the documents and copies you use to communicate with us, the documents and information you provide, and the information we collect for verification purposes.

Your request and to what extent you need to provide a response.

Data source: Received from you when you contact us with an inquiry, feedback, complaint, or other request.

Data source: We collect information about you that is already legally available to us and/or obtain it from third parties (such as service providers/Specialists, etc.) as necessary to review and respond to your request.

We collect and process your personal data only if it is sufficient and necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed.

Taking into account the services, functions, and other communication channels that Vynt offers you, we may process the following personal data about you:


2. Purposes of personal data processing

2.1. Service booking and order fulfillment

We collect your personal information to receive, manage your bookings, including, but not limited to, payment processing, refunds, invoicing, communicating with you about the order and its fulfillment, processing and resolving disputes, and so on.

Categories of personal data processed:

- Your identification and contact data;

- Details of your booking;

- Communication details, when and to what extent they are related to a specific order.

Legal basis: Documents for service provider (Specialist) verification.

Data processing period: A specific order and related data and documents will be stored for 10 years after the order is completed.

Your data that you store in your personal Vynt account for subsequent orders (e.g., first name, last name, phone number, address, payment instrument data) will be stored as long as your account is valid or until you yourself delete the relevant data from the account.

2.2. Offering Vynt services

2.2.1. Registration, management, and provision of services related to your personal Vynt account

By registering and creating a personal Vynt account, you will be able to make bookings much faster and more conveniently, view your booking history, manage your data and choices, and use only those Vynt services that are offered to registered customers.

To ensure the proper functioning of your Vynt account, its security, and the provision of account-related services, we process the following data from you:

- Categories of personal data processed: Technical and administrative data for registration, login, and account;

- Other data stored in and/or associated with your Vynt account:

- Identification and contact data, questionnaire data, and other information you enter and save in your account (addresses, payment instrument data, etc.);

- Your order history and booking data;

- Your consents, communication options, and/or service management.

Legal basis: The agreement concluded between you and Vynt for the use of Vynt services, to which the rules for using the Vynt website and mobile application apply.

Data processing period: We store registration, login, and other account data as long as your Vynt account is valid, i.e., until you or Vynt delete it.

If you delete your account or it is deleted by Vynt, your identification, contact, and other data will be permanently destroyed or anonymized so that you cannot be identified.

Purchase data was completely removed from your account within a certain period (10 years).

2.2.2. Content personalization and recommendations

To make Browse and booking even more convenient and faster for you, and to ensure that the provided content matches your needs, we offer content, recommend service providers (Specialists), services, and features that may be relevant to you on the Vynt website and/or mobile application.

To help us get to know you better and provide you with truly relevant content, we process the following information about you:

Categories of personal data processed for registered customers:

- Your Vynt account contains identification and profile data, as well as a user ID;

- Details of your booking;

- Data about your Browse of the Vynt website and/or mobile application;

- Other data arising from your use of relevant Vynt services;

- Your consents, communication options, and/or service management.

Legal basis: Agreement on the use of Vynt services, concluded between you and Vynt, to which the rules for using the Vynt website and mobile application apply.

Data processing period: As long as you are a registered customer and/or use the content personalization and recommendation service.

If content personalization and offers are not relevant to you, you can opt out of this service at any time by selecting the appropriate options in your account's self-service section.

If you opt out of the personalization and recommendation service, your data will no longer be collected or processed for this purpose.

Categories of personal data processed for unregistered customers:

- Session ID;

- Vynt website and/or mobile application Browse data, stored during the session.

It is important to note that all Browse data of an unregistered customer is collected and processed only for content personalization purposes, which does not allow identification of a specific person.

In some cases, the Vynt system may recognize you as a returning user and link data collected during a previous Browse session with data from a new Browse session.

However, even in this case, we cannot identify you as a specific person, as your Browse data is not linked to other personal information or identifiers.

Legal basis: Your consent to confirm cookie selection.

Data processing period: While your consent is valid, but no longer than two years.

2.2.3. Offering other Vynt services and features

We offer our customers a wide range of useful services and features that require the processing of certain personal data about you.

For example, if you use the 'Wishlist' service, we will store items uploaded to your wishlist.

In this case, we manage both the list of services in your 'Wishlist' and information about when services were added to Vynt.

If you browse the site as a registered customer, we store services added to your cart, and also store information about when services were added to Vynt.

If you select a city on the Vynt website or in the mobile application to see the nearest service providers, we will save this choice and continue processing it.

When using Vynt services and features as a registered user, we generally store and link your choices and data, if any, to your personal account and other data processed by you.

An integral part of some services is sending electronic or other messages (e.g., notifications of confirmed bookings, notifications of rejected bookings, etc.).

We also use your contact information, such as email address, to send you such service messages.

In most cases, we provide you with the opportunity to opt out of service alerts by selecting the appropriate options in your account and/or by clicking the Vynt app notification opt-out option in your smartphone settings.

When you reply to a sent message, we store the details of your message settings.

The legal basis for processing personal data for the purposes specified in this clause is the agreement between you and Vynt for the use of Vynt services, to which the rules for using the Vynt website and mobile application apply, or in individual cases, your consent.

We store personal information for the purposes described in this section as long as necessary to provide the service or feature and/or as long as you use the service or feature.

We collect and process your personal information to provide you with services and other features in accordance with Vynt's terms of use and/or your preferences.

2.3. Direct marketing and other marketing activities

2.3.1. General and personalized direct marketing messages

Through Vynt, you may receive notifications about discounts and promotions on certain services from service providers (Specialists).

To provide such offers and information, we process the following information about you:

Categories of personal data processed: Your contact data;

Your Vynt purchase and Browse history, if you have chosen to receive offers specifically for you;

Details of newsletters and other communications.

Legal basis: Your consent, which you give when subscribing to the Vynt newsletter, to receive general and/or specially designed messages and offers.

We process survey flyers and other communications based on our legitimate business interests.

The collection and analysis of such data allows us to evaluate the relevance and effectiveness of our direct marketing campaigns so that messages are interesting and relevant to you, and our direct marketing is effective.

Data processing period: As long as your consent is valid.

You can withdraw your consent to receive newsletters, general and/or individual messages and offers at any time by setting the appropriate parameters and disabling notifications from the Vynt app in your smartphone settings.

2.3.2. Other types of online marketing

On the Vynt website and/or mobile application, you can use the services of Google, Adform, and other online advertising providers.

Generally, advertisers, as independent data processors, collect data when Browse the Vynt website and/or mobile application using cookies and similar technologies to provide you with relevant online advertising on Vynt, other websites, and/or other online advertising channels (social networks, mobile applications, internet search, etc.).

Your Browse data will be collected and processed for advertising purposes on the website and/or mobile application Vynt based on your consent, which you can give or withdraw by accepting or rejecting targeted (commercial) cookies.

2.4. Handling your inquiries and other requests

When you contact us for assistance, ask questions, submit inquiries, feedback, complaints, etc., you generally provide us with your personal information.

We use your personal information to ensure a proper and objective evaluation of your suggestions, to provide you with the necessary information to answer your questions, resolve your inquiries or demands.

In addition, the possibility of using data about your rights and legitimate interests as a statement, demand, or request may lead to a dispute or disputes regarding probability.

Categories of personal data processed: Your identification and contact data;

Contacts;

Other information necessary to process your inquiry or request.

Legal basis: Fulfillment of a legal obligation to respond to Customer inquiries.

The agreement concluded between you and Vynt and/or its execution, if your statement or request is related to the agreement and/or its execution.

It is in our legitimate interests to protect your rights and interests when you submit a complaint or claim to us, if a legal dispute arises or may arise.

Data processing period: While your inquiry or other request is being processed, we will respond and store the relevant information for two years after the request is processed.

If your inquiry, claim, or other request leads or may lead to legal proceedings, we may store your information for a longer period until the statute of limitations for filing a complaint or claim expires and/or until a final decision comes into force.

2.5. Analysis of statistical activity, development and improvement of economic activity

We want our customers to be able to use the Vynt website and/or mobile application as simply and conveniently as possible, for our services to be relevant and useful, and for the customer experience to be the best.

Therefore, for the development and improvement of our activities, we constantly analyze how customers use the website, Vynt mobile application, and/or Vynt services, and manage various data.

It is important to note that when conducting analyzes and statistics, we process anonymized aggregated data and do not process your contact information or other information that could personalize you.

This means that analytical and statistical data do not identify a specific user, are not linked to other personal data of an identified user, and are not registered in the databases of a specific user.

Categories of personal data processed: Aggregated data on Browse the Vynt website and/or mobile application;

Aggregated data on customer bookings;

Summary reviews of newsletters and other reports;

Summary information on communication with customer data.

Legal basis: We conduct analytics and statistics, and collect and process data for these purposes only with your consent.

You can accept or reject analytical and statistical cookies at any time by changing your cookie selection accordingly.

Data processing period: We store data until the processing purposes are achieved.

On the Vynt website and/or mobile application, we may use Google Analytics and/or other web analytics service providers.

Google Analytics and other analytics tools collect Browse data.

We collect and use analytical and statistical data on visits and use of the Vynt website and/or mobile application only with your consent to evaluate the effectiveness of our services and/or marketing campaigns.

And also for making important decisions on the development and improvement of our activities, such as developing the diversity of Vynt service providers (Specialists), improving the Vynt website and mobile application.

2.6. Profiling and automated decision-making

To provide you with personalized content and recommendations (section 2.2.2 of the Privacy Policy), you will be offered individualized direct marketing offers (section 2.3.1 of the Privacy Policy), we will use automated data analysis and decision-making, including profiling.

This means that you have appropriate options for using data processed by automated analysis and aggregation tools, and we have experience and make predictions about what content and/or messages might be for you.

To better understand the needs and preferences of our customers, customers can also be classified by various characteristics (e.g., age, location, etc.).

This automated analysis, profiling, and decision-making allows us to efficiently process information about our customers and achieve the specific goals mentioned above, i.e., to tailor content, recommendations, and/or offers to your needs and preferences.

These actions are not limited to the processing of personal data and do not have a significant impact on you or any legal consequences for you.


3. Can you disagree with the processing of my personal data and its use on the Vynt website and mobile application?

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time if the processing is based on your consent.

For example, you can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of personal data processing that occurred before the withdrawal of consent.

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, depending on your specific circumstances, if the processing is based on our legitimate interests.

In this case, we will not further process your personal data unless there is a compelling legitimate reason that overrides your interests, rights, and freedoms, or there is another legal basis for processing.


4. To whom is your personal data transferred?

We may transfer your personal data to third parties to provide you with services.

We will transfer your personal data only if there is a legal basis for the transfer of personal data and if the personal data is intended for the proper fulfillment of your order or the provision of the relevant service.

We transfer your personal information to service providers (Specialists) from whom you book services.

Your personal information will be transferred to service providers (Specialists) to the extent necessary for the proper fulfillment of your order.

The service provider (Specialist) processes your personal data in the manner established by them as an independent controller.

Your personal information will be transferred to service providers (for example, if you are a registered user and have booked a service from a Specialist, your phone number is provided to the Specialist to contact you).

In legal proceedings and in other cases provided by law, your personal data may be transferred to government authorities in the manner provided by the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.


5. How long do we store personal data?

Your personal data will be stored as long as necessary for the specific purposes for which it is collected.

Data retention periods for individual data processing are detailed in Part 2 of this Privacy Policy.

Personal data may be stored longer than indicated in the Privacy Policy only if:

- we have reason to suspect that you have committed a violation and we need your information to investigate a possible violation;

- your data is necessary for the proper resolution of a dispute or complaint;

- if the data is necessary to ensure the security of the Vynt website and/or mobile application, for example, to detect suspicious activity of a visitor or customer;

- for other special reasons, conditions, or cases provided by law.


6. How to arrange access to Vynt personal data?

You have the right to review the details of the processing of your personal data and to have access to your personal data.

7. How can I change/improve my personal data?

If you find that your personal information is incorrect or incomplete and would like to change or correct it, you can do so in the following ways:

8. Can I ask you to delete my personal information?

You have the right to request that we stop processing your personal data and delete it in at least one of the following cases:

- personal data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;

- you withdraw the consent on which the processing was based, and there is no other legal basis for processing;

- your personal data is processed unlawfully;

- you have objected to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests, and in this particular case, your interests prevail.

We apologize, but your personal information will not be deleted from our database if we find that:

- your personal data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed;

- you have not withdrawn your consent to the processing of your personal data if the data is processed with your consent;

- the processing of personal data is necessary for our legitimate interests, and your interests do not prevail;

- your data must be processed for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

- we are obliged to process your personal data in accordance with applicable European Union and national law.

If you wish to delete your personal Vynt account, you can do so yourself from your account - 'Delete account'.


9. Do I have the right to restrict the processing of my personal data?

You have the right to restrict our ability to process your personal information.

If you restrict the processing of your personal data, we will no longer process your personal data for any purpose other than storing your personal data.

You can restrict the processing of personal data in at least one of the following cases:

- your personal data is inaccurate (in this case, the processing of personal data is limited to verifying the accuracy of the data);

- your personal data is processed unlawfully, but you do not consent to the deletion of your data;

- Vynt no longer needs your personal data for certain purposes, but you need them for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

- your personal data will be processed if you object to it (processing is limited on this basis until it is demonstrated that the reasons and interests for processing your personal data outweigh our legitimate interests).

10. How can I apply to exercise my rights?

You can submit requests regarding the use of personal data and rights in the following ways:

Our system identifies you by your email address.

When submitting an application to us, please provide your email address for which the information is being provided in one of the following ways: If you do not provide an email address or it does not match the email address of the requesting person, we may not be able to correctly identify you, provide the requested information, or fulfill your request.

If you believe that your rights have been violated during the processing of personal data, you can contact the National Data Protection Inspectorate to protect your rights.

In Estonia, this is handled by the Data Protection Inspectorate.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website and mobile applications, such as "pixel tags", "web beacons", "clear GIFs", etc. (collectively "cookies").

Cookies do not harm your computer or device. They help us ensure the operation and functionality of our website and/or mobile application, provide you with Vynt services, collect analytical and statistical information on the website and/or view the mobile application, carry out advertising and marketing activities.
